Tracking map of Cyclone Meena showing the last minute deviation in track of the cyclone that spared Rarotonga the massive destruction that would have resulted from Meena, which was packing winds gusting to 150 knots, (280kph) However the storm surge of around 14 metres did damage some buildings on the waterfront.  Geoff Mackley .
